We're so used to the traditional RSS feed readers, that it probably wouldn't hurt to discover new ways to read the news from your favorite websites.

Snakr is a free RSS feed reader that lets you read the latest news from your favorite websites, from your own desktop and using a sliding menu that will rotate the feeds right next to your task bar.

You can add as many feeds as you want, either one by one, or by importing a whole list. Likewise, you can adjust the rotation speed of the messages.

All of these features make Snakr an original application that's worth trying.
